I am a Health Coach, qualified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and can support and guide you in achieving your health-related goals, whatever they are. I can help you improve your relationship with food and exercise, your gut health, your hormone health, your energy levels and much more. If weight loss is a goal, I can help you find a sustainable approach that doesn’t include restriction or dogmatic rules.

 

what is health coaching?

Health coaching is a personalised and collaborative approach to helping you improve your overall health and wellbeing.

Health coaching moves away from the separation of the brain and the body, helping you understanding how a whole-body and bioindividual approach to health create long-term and sustainable results.

The primary focus of health coaching is to empower you to make sustainable lifestyle changes that can positively impact your physical, mental, and emotional health. I will use various techniques and strategies to help you identify your strengths, values, and motivations, as well as potential barriers that might hinder your progress.

My approach to health coaching

  1. Goal setting: I will work with you to set specific, realistic and achievable health goals, tailored to your unique circumstances and health starting point.

  2. Behaviour Change: I can help you understand your current behaviours, mindsets and habits and work with you to develop healthier habits and overcome challenges.

  3. Transformation over information: I can provide you with the evidence-based information about nutrition, exercise, stress management, appetite regulation and emotional wellbeing, but only as far as it will assist you in making the changes you want to make.

  4. Accountability and Support: I will provide you with ongoing support, encouragement and accountability to keep you motivated and on track.

  5. Practical Skills: We will work together to assemble you a toolkit of skills that foster a healthy mindset that can support your health and wellbeing.

  6. Personal Programmes: Our coaching sessions will be tailored to individual needs, preferences and health issues. Bioindividuality is the core of my approach and will be the foundation of the programme we put together.

  7. Empathetic and Non-Judgmental: I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for you to share your challenges and concerns. I meet you where you are and work with you at your own pace, respecting your individual journey.

what will we look at?

Health coaching looks at both primary and secondary food. Primary food is the aspects of life that nourish you off the plate. Secondary food is what you eat. Both Primary and Secondary food must be in balance for you to healthy and happy. In coaching sessions, we will analyse each of these aspects of your life to ensure they support your health and wellbeing. We will create a full picture of your health and take steps from there to help you achieve your health goals.
