My name is Sarah and I am a health and emotional wellbeing coach.

I want to help you become happy and healthy. I want to help you find simpler ways of living a nourished life.

about me

I started Ahara Wellness to help people reframe what health means to them. I’ve learnt, over many years, that health is abundance, not restriction.

It’s also bioindividual and about much more than what you eat and how much you exercise.

I can help you rewrite your health story as I rewrote mine.

my story

For years, I was confused about health. I tried many things to look like what I was convinced ‘healthy’ was. I was wrong. In fact, all these myopic approaches damaged my health and my relationship with food and exercise. I blamed myself for lacking willpower and discipline, as per the health narrative I’d been consumed by for years. Then, I became ill and had to rethink everything. Since then, I’ve worked to reframe all the nonsense I’d absorbed for years. It wasn't easy, but I educated myself on the science of wellbeing, of the role of the nervous system, the importance of the whole-picture approach and much more.

I undertook my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019 with the intention of learning and understanding my own practice. I’ve been teaching since 2020 and love watching the impact this form of movement has on my students. It’s the same impact it has had on me.

I then qualified as a health coach in 2021, followed by qualifying as a specialist in Disordered and Emotional Eating. I started Ahara Wellness in 2023.

I hope to help as many people as possible change their approach to health, no matter their goals. Be it weight loss, overcoming disordered and emotional eating, finding more energy, improving hormone health, improving gut health and any other goals you may have.
